AFTER Beating God King

It makes sense that one should be able to automatically gain access to the Infinity Blade, but after beating the God King (I beat him once at Level 5, and multiple times on my second go-around between Level 5 and 34) two things happen that I don't understand, and would appreciate some help understanding these:

1. Why does the warrior go right back to "I will avenge you, father" with the same old sword, even after having beaten the God King?

2. After beating the God King, warrior picks up something that looks like a Blackberry (the God King uses a blackberry? lol!) and presses a button, which causes an ominous looking bubble to descend from the cieling. This gives the impression that something magnificent is about to happen, and then...POOF! Right back to "I will avenge you, father" and start all over again? WHY? What is going on with that? What is that great bubble supposed to be about?

Any help?

One theory is that after defeating the god king, you take over his role... So when your son comes for vengence, he is actually fighting you... The only problem with this theory is why Fed-Ex back all your old gear to your son if you are still alive n kicking...

(which bring me to another point... its nice of GodKing to Fed-Ex your gear to your son after defeating you too...)

I'm sure more of the story will be told with further patches...

It's a hologram of the earth after something has destroyed our moon (notice the debris floating in orbit). At to what it's all about well your guess is as good as mine.

Mine is that a race of god kings (immortals) did the damage and took over and we're hell bent on defeating them and freeing ourselves from their rule. But once you kill him you're trapped in their place at the throne.

We'll know more when the dungeons are revealed.
