What's the best way to avoid getting hit by the God King? I'm pretty certain that it's impossible to dodge 100% of his attacks, and the shield gets worn out after a while. Is there any way to make the character faster, or am I missing something?

I started playing with 2 thumbs instead of my right index finger so I could hover over both dodge buttons at the same time (on iPod touch). I'm not sure what's best. I can cast heal with my thumb OK now and use special, but I'm still relearning how to do my combos with my thumb without messing up and I still miss dodges some. How do others hold it?

Thing is, I can't get past the lvl 350 God King. His combos simply cause too much damage, and I can not dodge enough of his attacks :(

I've noticed that when you play with your thumbs, sometimes when you try to parry it doesn't react the same way as it does if you use, for example, your right index finger.
Or maybe it's just me who has to small thumbs :(

I've given up on trying to parry. I'm a dodger.

I posted this in another thread but here goes...

I am right handed and on an iPhone.

My left thumb is solely for dodging left and my right index finger is for everything else. So basically my left thumb just sits a hair above the left dodge icon. My right index finger is fast enough to cover everything else.

Also, I only use my shield against the God King when he goes into his 'super attack' mode cause I have trouble dodging or parrying all his attacks, so I save my shield power until it comes.

Hope this helps.

Keep on trying to master the parry. I would even recommend resarting from bloodline 1 if needed so you can get the hang of it.

Parrying is worth its weight in gold. Many times after parrying an enemy's final attack swing, a parry will give you a longer period of time to deliver your attacks.

Agreed. Dodging requires longer time to recover and leaves you with lesser time to strike. But because the enemy's final strike is usually very slow and telegraphic, you can dodge early and by the time you return to the original position, the swing will be right in your face but you are still considered to have dodged the attack. Doing so should leave you with enough time to perform a mega combo.

You can dodge using the left or right side area of the screen, it doesn't necessary have to be directly on top of the button. Hope that helps.

I cant dodge fast enough too... Well not for all combos but some are too fast. The character go back to his middle position before you can dodge again and when you click dodge it takes 1 to 2 sec to actually dodge. The godking has mor than enough time to hit me on fast combos.

I found a glich tho. It doesnt alway work but when he does the shield combo, i get hit the first time while i dodge on a side (when he starts with sword) and i hold block while i'm dodging and my character stays on the side and block so i dodge every other hit of the combo.

I use two thumbs to dodge and index to attack. I always double tap for dodge, just in case I miss it the first time. I'm on level 300 God King and can dodge all his attacks. You just memorize the combos and when he starts, you have to do a "dodge combo."

I'm on the lvl 550 God King, and it's getting kinda difficult. And I simply cannot parry; it just does not work.
