I'd apologize if I made a duplicate thread but I just have a few suggestions to share.
As a fighting game fan I would like to see this game become a competitive standard for future sword fighters to come. But in order to do that... Infinity Blade needs:
.
Controls related
Training mode for practicing combos, timing, delay, long / short swipes etc.
A more proper combo system, say if you swipe in certain ways you can be awarded a finisher bonus attack.
Two Finger Swipe to Dodge, instead of tapping (as an option, if there's nothing else reserved for two finger swipes)
Shields could activate more instantaneously.
Dodge, Block, and Pause controls should grey out or disappear when opponent is stunned or is in the middle of a combo.
Magic Related
More real time magic system; the opponent should not be standing still when you are casting magic.
Magic with more purposes other than damage / healing. For example, a buff that reduces damage, reduce enemy speed, increase player speed, increase sword speed, etc etc.
There should be an option for us to choose our super attack, there should be more than one super attack type (other than stun).
PvP related
It should go without saying that RPG elements would ruin the game, I would much rather see different characters with different attacks / skills / magic / speed / stats.
Super attacks should act like how the Ultras work in Street Fighter 4 (charge up as you take damage, charge up completely only when your life is under 10%) allowing a way for the player to make a comeback. And Super should only be allowed once per round.
Round mechanic (best of 3 rounds wins).
Again, all characters should have pre-built stats.
The TAP TAP TAP mechanic could use some tweaks in PvP with something more interesting, like say tapping certain areas or symbols on the screen. Currently I can use 2-3 fingers tapping on the screen to gain an unfair advantage versus say someone using only one finger.
Heals need to be tweaked or removed from PvP; you do not want your fights to filled with heal spams.
Equipment Related
Equipment Weight system - so you can choose between a heavy sword vs a heavy armor but not both. This is a means to balance out PvP gear somewhat, if gears are permitted.
If it can be done without sacrificing game's performance, Weapon Speed variance.
Other Frequently Suggested
More than 1 Profile/Save-game.
Replay option (well, so long as it doesn't hinder the performance of the game).
Parrying chains could be awarded with a damage multiplier. For example parrying 3 times in a row should let you do 1.5x more damage.
I know you guys are hard at work on the PvP side of the game, and have probably came across some of these things. I just hope this list has something useful for the team.

Add option for New character
I know my friends will go crazy when they see me playing this, and unlike SF4, they will actually be able to pick up and play. BUT, I don't think I'll be able to blink away from the screen because I'm afraid they could go to the Option menu and Restart to Bloodline 1.
I'm not even sure, I'd like them to play my Bloodline. At least add an exhibition or Arcade mode or something, so people can play without worrying about leveling up and etc... Simply set the difficulty (from novice to expert, with at least 4 total difficulty variants.)
Add changes to the environments like color tone, time of the day, and whether (cloudy, sunny, etc...)
It's ok if it's a duplicate, we love to hear your suggestions!

- use Epic Citadel as a PVP lobby. Generate players there.
- use Epic Citadel, if not as a lobby - then as a side town. Add it into Infinity Blade. Populate it with interesting npc characters, with lore to share. Also, use the market area in Epic Citadel to buy veggies and herbs - potion crafting.
Keep it free roam, so then players stop complaining about free roam - with a purpose.
- add in more than a single death animation per monster
- add more QuickTime events, like stab (touch the circle)
- fix the iPad resolution and effects, please. :p
- as noted above, include potion crafting giving your character timed bonuses or effects.
- include a way to offload mastered gear, a shop to sell back items to

Don't really care for most of these ideas myself, but I like these ones:

You can already do this in the Store.

I like this idea. A separate game part being about archery where the game progresses the same way it does now would be pretty fun.

Great! Thanks for listening :) I can't tell you how excited I am to be playing Infinity Blade against my friends and guildmates :) :)
I had an idea for balancing out the magic for PvP; perhaps we could have a random generated weather effect that gives say, Fire more damage when the weather is red, Ice more damage when the weather is blue... something along those lines. Then we can have buffs that can change the weather/environment.
And as far as balancing PvP equipment's concerned, I think Infinity Blade would benefit tremendously if we can have a Weight-System. Like your character could only carry so much weight; you can have heavier armor vs a heavier sword but not both. But this system like stats could introduce potential game balancing difficulties (might take a long time to balance everything out).
As for characters, I could see this game could really use a Mage like character; with some magic powered sword perhaps. Most fighters have female characters, but if you have to have one make her a mage.

I posted this on a separate thread, but here goes:
-Profiles. We don't want to delete all our progress just to start a new game.
-Option to restart battle or start new bloodline when beaten by the God-King.
-Something to spend all that money you earn after lvl40. I know there's more content coming, but maximizing everything should have taken much longer. New content or not, I know I'll still be spending a lot of time on this game, but the fact that my character will be fixed from now on is rather demotivating.
-More variety in high-end equipment, instead of having just one ultimate set.
-Weapons could vary in speed. I think that would be a very neat addition that will add much variety to play styles.
-Better availability for magic spells. I think having only 3 spells per ring is rather limiting. "Heal" is pretty much a must have, further limiting the range of viable combinations. This is especially because you ordinarily only get to cast 1 to 3 times per battle, which makes the variety in rings less significant. As unoriginal as it may seem, perhaps permanently learning the spells would make things more exciting, especially as you build up the skill to efficiently use your spell book.
-A little more freedom to look around in between battles, just for fun.
-An instructions manual.

- the dodge buttons are too small and too easy to miss during the heat of a fight. how about a two finger swipe? or if nothing else, just bigger, clearly defined button region.
- the pause button keeps activating inadvertently. how about pinch from corner to corner?
anyway... just love love love the game. srsly, like a perfect little short story and it feels mythical and... "epic"... love the whole thing with bloodlines, just everything. rock on dudes!

I think this would help get rid of the negativity surrounding free roaming. As others have mentioned, it doesn't make much sense to change the dungeon format -- it actually works well as is. But if you added Epic Citadel and made it the town where you can purchase items, interact with other players, and perform quests, people would probably be satisfied. You could borrow from other games like Chaos Rings and just create a map that lets us travel from the city to the various dungeons.

The death effects were nice.. until about the 10th time seeing the identical one. Now I just press the fast forward button. It would be nice to have a proper combo system that determines the animation -- something like "an ultimate" from street fighter or mortal combat.

It would be nice to see the magic system revamped a bit and have an alternate long ranged fighting style through spells and arrows. But this could be pretty hard to create, so it's just wishful dreaming.
Having several profiles would be nice too. Obviously more equipment, dungeons, and levels are coming.
Obviously fix the various bugs: the iPad resolution, death by the poison, gamecenter and achievements, sound affects disappearing, dodge buttons slow response/small size, etc.
AND PLEASE ADD a guide explaining the various symbols, combos, leveling system, game plot, etc. Just replace the coming soon tab with it.

I don't know about the iPhone, but on the iPad, all I have to do is touch the right/left side of the screen to dodge. You don't have to touch the button itself.

Love the game, love it! My wife is telling me to put my gfd phone away after i've drained the battery for the 6th time... :D
What I'd like to see:
1) Improvements to the dodging system... I've lost count how many times I've MISSED a dodge by tapping too far over OFF the screen... make it a bit more forgiving, or like someone here said, a two finger swipe... or just allow to tap ANYWHERE on the side of the screen.
2) Visual guides/cues for beginners and a more detailed help section... I tried to let my kids play it and they just could not 'tell' which direction an attack was coming from that reliably. It's fine for us but an 'easy mode' that has a directional attack indicator would be good for those 'not hardcoar' enuf. A guide to stringing combos would also help.
3) Better/more varied death animations for monsters, and a BIT of blood. We don't need massive gibbing, that's too far, but come on, you really, really do not get a sword thrust right through you without at least a small spray of something!
4) Visual effects/particle effects on the elemental weapons. Weapons with fire, ice, poison, drain etc could have an effect around the blade. Looks cooler. Doesn't need to be huge or massively standout as it'll probably hit the limits of the iOS hardware but still... MITE B COOL!
5) Some form of wandering around. I agree with the suggestion to use Epic Citadel as a town BEFORE your hero goes out to slay the God King. Make it so that you must buy your gear IN TOWN before going to the castle... I mean come on... you're standing right before the God King's throne and wait, wait, lemme open store to change weapon!... WHAT STORE?! WHERE?!
6) More flexibility with the exp system. You should earn a set amount per battle that gets distributed to your gear. If you're equipping only one leveluppable piece, then ALL the exp earnt should go to that one piece. It's at least a sense of doing something rather than the current method of 'save up gold, buy a hax piece, walk through the game... use gold earnt at lvl40+ to instantly master lower pieces'.
7) Elemental weakness system.. An ice mob should take double damage from fire, etc. Iron golems etc should take double damage from shock/lightning. If this system is already implemented... I don't see it...
8) Rewards for parrying as opposed to dodging/blocking. Parrying is obviously the hardest thing to do, and if you memorize every single attack swing in the game to the point where you can parry any attack from any mob... you should be rewarded for that effort. Right now, there is no incentive to parry as opposed to block/dodge, except for the 'yeh, feels good man' feeling of being pro enuf to parry an entire chain.
All i can think of for now! I hope more content comes soon... have never been this impressed with a mobile game since... since... ever!

To implement a round system in PVP how about something like Holmgang. Each player gets a set of shields breaking through a shield or running out of life ends the round except for the last round which is obviously to the death.

All the scores are saved some where in your iPhone, they just jailbreak there iPhone and change the scores which is so annoying. :|

WAY back in the day, I used to play Jedi Knight 2: Jedi Outcast. The multiplayer online was by far one of the best that I've ever experienced. What made it so incredible were certain social and technical aspects of the game (obviously). If infinity blade can add in these type of features, I would be an avid, consistent player.
First off, more fighting styles should be included and/or the current fighting style should be modified for multiplayer in order to add more customization and differentiation between players. This could possibly be based on the weapon, experience, armor, etc. For example, giving each weapon its own weight could be a feature that helps determing the speed of swings and/or combos.
The reason I bring this up is because the speed at which players can slash is a little too much for multiplayer IMO. I can't imagine trying to block every move of some ADD-13yearold-crack head from hell that's just whipping his dick back and forth the screen at 200 swipes a second. Furthermore, back to jedi knight, what made the fighting differentiation so fun was that it allowed for clans and groups to make up their OWN style of combat.
Anyhow, just don't make multiplayer random match ups. I'm sick of that.

ehm...my magic attack are very powerful...sometimes (if the enemy aren t immune) the spell can steal 25% of healt at the enemy..
i think they are too powerfull...probably it s better if u can use a magic attack one time per combat and healing too

hmm... how much points did you spent in magic?
When i fight the godking lvl200 i can easly regain 3 or 4 times my fully health and i only have 63 points for magic by 4000 lifepoints.

Currently at about 70 Magic tier 3 magic spells will take off half life in even bloodline 10... it's almost way too overpowered. I believe the Magic stat also makes your Magic charge up faster (but I am not sure*) so it helps in later bloodlines if you want to heal more often (you will need it).

I like the idea of being able to dodge with two finger swipes as an option compared with tapping on the left/right edges of the screen.

A few more things I want to add:
Shield Blocking
It's too slow as of v1.0. I understand that shield blocking is the only way to block certain attacks in the game currently, but in its current form I do feel that they need an upgrade. Shield Blocking really needed to be more reliable considering how it offers little to no opportunities to counter attack as well as having a limit of number of uses per round. I see shield blocking as a way to deal with those "Oh sh*t" moments when we don't have time to react quick enough.
Clean UI When Enemy is Stunned
Dodging, Shield, and Pause controls should disappear while an enemy is stun. Nothing is more annoying than getting your combo interrupted by dodging / blocking / pausing. If not disappear they should be greyed out.

i really like the pause remove idea . it hits alot when i want to perform combo.
When i fight the godking lvl200 i can easly regain 3 or 4 times my fully health and i only have 63 points for magic by 4000 lifepoints.

Currently at about 70 Magic tier 3 magic spells will take off half life in even bloodline 10... it's almost way too overpowered. I believe the Magic stat also makes your Magic charge up faster (but I am not sure*) so it helps in later bloodlines if you want to heal more often (you will need it).
when u get to level 250 god king - fire ,poison&ice ,... is useless because he's immune to them.(other creatures become immune too)
and u can just use it to heal yourself or regain shield .
so i suggest to spend your XP upgrading attack. so u can beat 300 lvl gk easily .
i treid to beat this fu**ing 350lvl God knight and i was very close !

Things which would be cool-
As I mentioned before:
:::Epic Citadel added to Infinity Blade, in it's current form. Except add a shop (veggie stands) where you could buy ingredients, like a touch screen mixing mini game (Lego Harry Potter) to craft potions with different stat effects.
Also add npc characters in areas around the town who give random bits of lore. Combatants practicing near the cliff tents, a cleric in the cathedral who can heal you, or give a stat boost blessing.
Or...
:::Build Epic Citadel into Infinity Blade as a PVP lobby, populated with peoples characters for multiplayer.
:::Leave it as free roam, so those free roam wanting individuals are pleased.
:::Add in archery, to the cinematic movement. Attacked from above by winged creatures. Pull back to ready the arrow, tap to release.
:::change the menu layout stlye, from the modern grid background, to something that matches the dark medieval theme of the game.
:::More QuickTime events and opportunities
:::Put that ocean background from the preview videos back into the game
:::more than one death animation/kill scene per villain. That way each play through you might see them defeated differently. Variety.
:::Some blood please. It's awkward and unrealistic to impale a villain, who's internals are bone dry. They must be filled with Charmin, because they obviously don't bleed. Add in some blood effects. Even if they aren't the greatest looking, like what RAGE has, would be better than nothing.

Sry shining your link is broken cant fix it.
But i believe you and not only him (Godking) if the Enemy lvl up that fast they also get immune against the most of the spells.
So in my opinion all magics are useless after reaching 40 (and more when it goes up) besides heal of course.
Its also a shame there makes Magician Bloodlines completly useless at Godking 250.

Basically magic is overpowered against anyone who isn't immune to a certain element. If I am not wrong, Magic can charge up faster it would let you healing quicker against the God King so... I can imagine it being helpful later on.

Exactly. Magic points are very useful because it gives you a lot more heals during the God King fight.

i divide the upgrade points like this : (approximately)
45% = Attack
35% = Health
20% = Magic

i have to use it.(wall is +50 ! but i use Elith +38 to immune)
i can't doge or parry some attacks and i use it rarely.;)

With that little Health you won't stand a chance against Level 300+ God King. I have around 8000 Health and I could still lose to him. It's all about survival, so put in only Health and Magic (for quick healing).

Everyone has their own fighting style. Just do what you like, its not like you have only one way of beating the God King. I have a 100 in shield (with The Wall) and it helps a lot near the end of the battle. Also, I get to heal usually three or four times in the fight which makes magic almost better than health.
ADD: Let us Kick and Punch like the bosses. Shield Bash would be cool too.

Here's a request: cloud-based multi-device save files. I'm sure I'm not the only one with an iPad and an iPhone 4, and I'd love to be able to play with the big screen on the 'Pad and, when I don't have it, on my phone too.

I think it's an awesome game, excellent even! But it needs more content.
Here are my ideas:
1) Add more enemies before you reach the god-king. It's too fast getting to him. I understand that this is probably how Epic wanted it to be, that 1 run through the castle will be fast so you start another bloodline and continue to grow stronger quickly, but I feel it's too fast.
2) Add explanations to the game mechanics. Like what the symbols in an enemy's description mean, what items' special properties mean (some are easy to understand, but some aren't... what is LifeDrop?). And a combo list will be very nice.
3) Give items a special bonus they give you when you master them. For instance a mastered weapon will give you an extra +3 to attack in addition to the attack bonus it normally gives you. That will make the game more interesting. Now what happens is that when you master an item you don't use it anymore, and it's a shame coz some items I really like but I can't use them (or don't have a reason to) if I mastered them. My idea gives you more strategic options; use a new item to gain more experience, or equip a mastered item to get it's bonus before a tough fight?
4) Make you earn less gold, or balance the gold gain/item progression rate. The items in the store are divided more or less to "levels", expensive items are stronger than the cheaper ones. The problem is that you only buy new items when you mastered the ones you have, and by the time you do, you have so much gold you can skip the weaker items and buy the strong ones right away. So if the developers wanted to have some progression, that you work your way up the ladder of items, using the weak ones first and gradually getting to the strong ones (in the later, more difficult "stages" of the game), it doesn't happen.

1. the god king should have different attributes, fighting styles, and appearances (weapons and equipments) each time you kill him!!!!!!!! or else it just gets boring killing him repeatedly
2. More alt routes
3. and i know this is too much to ask, but perhaps towns with NPCs for trading and side missions would make this the perfect RPG!!!! Since this game will just have to keep growing

This may take a whole lot of work to implement, but I think that every so often, a female player character should appear and attempt to continue the bloodline. Surely there would be some bloodlines where only a daughter was born?
Ofcourse this could affect the plot if Epic have other ideas about why things are as they are in this game..

With that little Health you won't stand a chance against Level 300+ God King. I have around 8000 Health and I could still lose to him. It's all about survival, so put in only Health and Magic (for quick healing).
Best to not add anything anywhere other than attack actually. In the long run, God King will inevitably one-shot you, might as well take him down faster.

I want a reward of one stat point for every God king kill (level 50, level 100, etc). If you reset to first bloodline, it remembers the ones you already did so you can't abuse it, you'd have to replay them all before you start gaining stats again.
This would give a small but lasting reward to the obsessive players who try to beat him a lot.
If it's too many stat points, make it for every other kill.
