Please explain the symbols!

I cannot find any explanation of the symbols. What is a little red drop for? Or two green drops? I hate guesswork!

They are pretty standard RPG symbols. Red I imagine is for fire, green is poison (drains life over time). The more of them the stronger the effect. However I don't quite understand the the one with a sword and a prohibited sign over it.

The red blood drop and the number next to it is how much life you gain back for each successful slash.

Great hint, thanks! I have to admit that I am not familiar with RPG symbols - I downloaded the game primarily for its graphics, and yes, I am disappointed that I cannot enjoy the graphics because I cannot roam around, not even really look around!

Yeah, we need something like a manual, I don't know when the symbols mean weakness, strenght... invulnerability... Enemies always have like two groups of them.

Furthermore, swords and shields are quite confusing
