Having people from various platforms sharing the same part of the forums caused quite a few problems with UT3. Not only that, but Xbox360 and PS3 players started leaving the official forums since it became kinda hard finding players on the same platform.
I suggest dividing the Bulletstorm forums into the following sections.
Bulletstorm
General Chat
PC specific discussion
PS3 specific discussion
Xbox360 specific discussion
As you can see I've put general chat on top of the hierarchy, it would server as the unified chat area basically where everyone can come together regardless of platform discussing the game.
each platform would have a subsection for bugs/common issues/finding players.
