The Creature is a project developed by students. Is a 2d platformer developed in UDK. The game itself have 20 levels (splitted in 5 areas) and many secrets to find!
We are working to fix all bugs issues and make the game more playeable, new releases and updates will appear periodically on our site!

A new and awesome trailer!

Is there really a cake in this one? ;)
Just judging from the trailer, dont have time to test this right now.
I like it! The graphics are unpolished and sometimes appear not to have been that high a priority? You could spend some time just making everything pretty and I think you have a really solid project here. You got some cool stuff in there in terms of gameplay. I liked the "rotate your screen" element that was shown in the video and the general weirdness of the project is appealing to me.

I can't help but want to play this man. It's a platformer with some real pizazz.
I'm giving this one a try, although, I'd have bought this if you sold it for some decent
price! Why didn't you guys sale this?

How in the world do I beat the last boss? I can't seem to find any way to beat him?
My horns and tongue do nothing.
EDIT: Nevermind I beat the first stage but the second is still getting me.

Wrile Jarom (http://forums.epicgames.com/member.php?u=1337008) one of the boss attacks gives you the chance to use your horns to counter attack :).

Very impressive. It's neat seeing different stuff being made with the UDK.
I liked how you'd placed the HUD aligned with the Creature in the beginning.
Unfortunately I haven't had the chance to play it a lot, only the first three rooms. (Guessing the fourth one is a boss?)
My main problem with the game is that I don't feel that his movement/Bouncing/applied force when leaving edges are intuitive. I had to die a lot of times to learn how it works, instead of "feeling" how it works, because it was nothing like what I expected. (PS. Like the dying-effect.)
What was really good about it was the straight up, pick up and play gameplay. Again, I haven't played it a lot, but after playing the beginning I'm expecting ****loads of variety in the rest of the game. And this is really the perfect kind of game for developers to be creative!
It's an awesome Proof of Concept and something that you should be proud about and keep working on.
Btw, I want Gamepad support. :P

Thank you Arcade for your support :)
We all think that the "ball mode" is probably the most counter-intuitive to play with and in new versions we'll try to fix it, but, we spend a lot of time with this and didn't found a good approach yet :P
Gamepad is another think we have in mind hehe
Hope you continue playing! ;)
