In image 3, you might want to scale up the textures, or perhaps add different textures for different surfaces.

I see an awful lot of tiling going on with that structure.

Yeah now that I look at it, you could be right. I'll give that a try. Maybe because it's far away.

Perhaps make a metal/concrete material and scale down that main texture as a normal map, but make the normal map very slight and hard to notice unless you're close up. That may help it, but also, try to make the material more bluish.
