anyone miss the old chainsaw blood splatter?

I was playing gears 1 2day and like the chocolate syrup/red dye on screen splatter in gears of war 1 when you chainsaw compared to the pinkish red somewhat gut filled on screen splatter anyone else like gears 1 chainsaw better? idk why it just seems more awesome in 1:cool:

I always enjoyed chainsawing in Gears 1 better. The way the enemy sort of convulses with a fountain of blood shooting everywhere is much more entertaining than in 2 where they just kinda get sliced and fall apart.

Does anyone miss how far limbs could fly?

I remember an arm flew across Canals from a shotgun gib and landed next to me.
of course someone has to ruin the moment and say "anyone need a hand?" But yeah, I also miss what you said.

I love how in gears 1, when you get them in a chainsaw animation they spaz out and kind of explode.

I like the gears2 animations better, but more blood and make it dark like gears1. :)

Yeah, I liked the gears 1 blood better, but I didn't agree with people saying it looked "cartoony"
