View Full Version : Rebuilt an Assassin Creed 2 Castle

Hey guys, im a newbie and I am also a fan of Assassin Creed so I decided to recreate a castle called Monteriggioni/Villa of Assassin Creed 2. Because Im lazy so I decided not to concept and start my work by basing on the pictures I took from the game.
BEcause Assassin Creed 2 has an enormous city system and many people worked to built those cities and I work alone. Therefore, I will make some samples of houses and then duplicate them. I will built 6-7 house samples and start play The Sim by UDK LOL !!!. Additionally, I will create some specific places such as the church, the well, and shops.

( If you are the fan of Assassin Creed, Im so sorry I can make it beautiful as the game but i will try to make it as great as possible).

Looks good leEco. Look forward to seeing more. Like the scale and the ability to roam around. Now you just have to make the the other buildings to fill in the areas.

@ataulfo: just the trees are the assets. other things are staticmeshes i made from max.

@LeCO: Ok. I wish I knew how to make static meshes XD. Keep up the good work.
Also, on the topic title is "rebulit" instead of "rebuilt".

Looks very good!
..but the lighting and the sky color are looking disconnected to me.

Other things are static meshes I made from Max.
Will some of these buildings have an interior to explore to add to the effect?

Actually Im not going to have interiors insinde these buildings sir. Because If i fill up the whole level, it will be a lot of houses. The problem is my computer can not handle that much houses with interior in it.
I dont know whether I can make a different interior system. What I mean is if im going to create interiors, i will made it separately from the level. Something like "level streaming" (im not sure about level streaming because I have not dealt with it before. All I can think about is, for example, place a trigger in front of a door, and that trigger can move me to an interior which does not belong to the exterior.
If I can do that, my computer may handle the level.
Anyway, my first mission is to fill up the exterior sir.
However, I will create some interior which can be seen from outside. Some stores for instances. In Assassin Creed 2, there are some stores like that such as Blacksmith, Art or Medic. I will try to do exactly the same.
