Tips to avoid starting without a gun?

Ok i love TU6 more then anyone can know but since TU6 ive
"started without a gun" like once every match. I keep my connection clear and reset my modem once every day to keep the connection clean. This issuse happened before TU6 sometimes also but its been alot worse since TU6. While i love TU6 and this is fully acceptable since TU6 basicly made the game fun again regardless of this. I was wondering are there any tip to avoid it?

My NAT is open. I cant port forward my xbox since i have 2 360 and port forwarding 1 xbox will make the other strict or mod. But my nat is open. So this shouldnt be the issue. The only method ive found that works but not everytime is muting my mic so theres less data being sent. Any modem or router setting anyone recommend i turn off to help avoid this or is it just the nature of the TU6 beast. BTW ive seen friend who never had this happen have it happen after TU6.

Also a month ago i doubled my download and upload speed and it wasnt never bad on my old speed. Maybe its a ping issue? my ping is usally around 50-90

I was really surprised to find this back again after the update. It hasn't happened to me at all but I've definitely seen it often.

I love this game and TU6 is great, but this kind of glitch is as bad as it gets when it comes to game glitches. IMO it should be number one on Epic's hit-list until it is fixed.

Are you wireless and if so, how far away from your xbox are you? Wasn't it caused by a small spike in the owners connection possibly due to a conflict with data transmission. If so, try not to run anything else or have your router connect to anything else whilst playing your xbox. I had a suspision it could be due to an influx of people logging onto the internet in your area.

I've had people on my connection starting without weapons. All of whom had no connection issues on my connection.

yea it happens on any connection it seems even if theres 0 lag.

It happened to me yesterday..in 8 rounds i started 3 of then WITHOUT weapon.... man...that really sucks... but as much as i know the problem is the host and the fail of packages (internet connection packages) sent to us when starting the rounds... but the thing that got me thinking was that the game wasnt LAGGY... not at all..
