Will there be any online clans for GoW?

I hope so, I don't understand why shooters currently out on the 360 don't support clans yet. It's starting to annoy me, honestly, when a last-gen game like Halo 2 has perfect matchmaking and clan support.

I'd actually like universal, built-in clan support for Live, because some developers seem to have given up or are being lazy. I did hear, though, that clan support wasn't yet enabled for 360 Live, but I'm not sure. If that's the case, MS needs to get on it.

It will be great with clans. 4 on 4. clan vs clan. Seeing who is better. The only suggestion I can make is maybe having active talking option. When you talk, your character talks. and if your opponet is near by they can hear you talk or they can hear your echos when you speak. It needs a bit more explaing but I think you have the idea.

Yeah, I've posted about doing a tournament ladder in game for clans - obviously inherant to that is the game supports clans! Here's hoping; though since they seem to be focusing on single player (with MP added as a nice to have) I can't see it happening. Prove me wrong Epic!

im pretty sure there will be clan support considering someone from epic made that Clan thread so people could recruit and get some clans going for the game when it ships.

I seriously hope there will be clans, most likely there will be. This is going to be the Killer App game for 2006. Why not? Even if there are no clans, this game is going to own.

I hope so too I have a few people I want to chainsaw online(mainly from this forum-LOL) I got something to prove-I want to show the world when it comes to third person shooters-I'm the best!-and I'll prove it.

There better be clans built in game or I'll be pissed, theres really no good reason why games like Ghost recon and PD0, or any fps game not to have clans, especially after socom and halo 2. it's unacceptable.

what ms should do is build a clan blade into the dashboard, and we can only hope, but until then, I sure as hell hope gow will have clan support. it increases the fun of the multiplayer aspect tenfold.

I am interested to see how it all pans out. EPIC is only really known for UT and they had really well done clans over the internet. Maybe Gears will have a website clanspace as well... But built into the game would be my favorite option as well
