Singleplayer only?

with there be a multiplayer in the game? if its still in the air on whether or not there will be multiplayer id like to recommend the game have only 1 multiplayer mode , 1vs1 but a very detailed and spectator friendly 1vs1.

So far it's single player only, but they have said that competitive MP is a possibility, just not confirmed yet.

The GameInformer article states that there will be Competitive Multiplayer PLUS something unannounced yet, but definitely no Offline Co-op.

Im pretty sure they will add some time of online multiplayer. Otherwise this game would have no replay value

True. EPIC were always a MP-based development team, but they showed that they can offer a great SP experience with Gears and moreso with Gears 2. From the sound of things, Bulletstorm's campaign is the main area they're working on, which is good news, because most developers (and this is more true in this generation than it ever has been) focus more on the MP aspect. Meh. Can't say I approve...

SP always comes first, in my opinion. Sure, MP gaming might last longer, but I much prefer playing solo.

99% of the time if a game doesn't have MP it's nothing more than a rental for me.

I don't know, man. Bioshock, Oblivion, Morrowind, KotOR, and plenty of other games don't have MP and they were fantastic.

Some games just don't need MP, because they already offer a stellar SP experience. In my opinion, SP is the way to go.

An UT-like Multiplayer would pwn! Of course with many new stuff and so on. But a Singleplayer only game would suck to be honest. You play it one time, finish it and then you are done... With a Multiplayer you are motivated to increase your skill, earn XP etc.. And its much more fun to play vs real humans. To create a campaign based game, just because other companies create multiplayer games is just stupid (at least imo). I like singleplayer with a good story and gameplay too but no Singleplayer can be as much fun as online gaming and we all know Epic could create a good MP. Or even a fantastic one?! :D

Yes, there are a very few games without MP that I would purchase, but not many. Bioshock is not one of them though. I rented that game and I'm glad that's all I did with it even though it was a great game. I haven't played the sequel yet though and it does have MP which I hear is fun.

I would personally like some type of MP like basicly, same as UT with just some core basic MP game types with the ability to add bots heh... good for lans !!
