The Mods on the PC version of UT3 are impossible to install

I cannot install any mods for UT3 on the PC because it is far too confusing. How do I install the following types of mods? Do I save the folders or do I unzip them?

How do I install?:
Maps?
Mutators?
Character Models?

Installing mods in this game is way too hard. Please help. :)

There's usually a readme file within the zip file of the map/mutator/character you downloaded, if you read it you will probably know where to put the files :P

but if there isn't, here's where you put the maps atleast, "Users\Username\My Documents\My Games\Unreal Tournament 3\UTGame\Published\CookedPC\CustomMaps"

it is not harder to install custom content ion Ut3 that it is in any other games...You just have to put everything into your MyGames folder (as mentioned above)
