Missions, Objectives Tutorial?

where can i find a tutorial on how to set up a mission or objective?

i have played around with game types a bit, but im not much of a coder and i dont think i need to mess with this too much.
but within a level, aside from the main game objective, you must be able to set up a kind of side mission with kismet somehow
eg. 'collect 10 objects to complete the mission'
anyone know anything about this?

Go through the 3D Buzz "top down" tutorial, it goes through exactly this, and a load more, well worth doing.
