How can I fix this:

I want to be able to walk through the door, but as it is now I can't.

The best way is create your own collision and name it the same as the structure like so: "UCX_the structure's name"; now export as one object.I didn't say attach the "collision box" together with the real object,you don't need to. You simply create another Cylinder as close shape to your object,provide doorway as originally designed,export to UDK;open Content Browser ==>>import button ==>> browse to your object file ==>>import window and make needed adjustments ==>>
OK or OK to All whichever applies to you ==>> UDK Static Mesh Editor window ==>>Check "Use simple line collision" check box; always work for me.

WTF!!!
All that happened was that the mesh disappear. And there is now no collision at all!!!
WHY GOD WHY!!!??
