The Armory is looking for more members interested in a full scale project using the UDK license. We currently
have one programmer and one designer/writer on the team. We prefer people who are local to Washington State
(in or around the King County area especially), but we will also accept people in different areas of the
US.

About the game - Firestorm is a sci-fi 3rd person action/RPG with several new gameplay concepts. The project
is still in the early stages of pre-planning, and we would like to get additional team members involved in
the early design phase. We are serious about completing development, and are planning on seeking funding once
we have a working build. We plan to publish through Steam and Impulse when the game is polished and ready. We
are not yet preparedto publicly announce full details of the game (though all members will be actively included
in the design process).

We are still in need of:

Programmers
3d Modellers
Texture artists
Sound artists
web developers
Level Designers (familiarity with UDK prefered)

Payment - A percentage of the game's profit plus interest in the company for future projects (if you wish to stay
with us). More details on this will be available to those interested in joining the team.

We are using Skype, Wave, and HFS for communication and collaboration at the moment (don't worry about Wave, as
I can pass along an invitation if needed).

Introduction
Humans, willing exiles of a corrupt government, take refuge in a new home across the vast ocean of space. Their hope for a new life of peace and prosperity are lost when they discover that they are not alone amongst the Helix Stars. Their encounter with the aggressive outcasts known as Legion sparks the Genesis War. Humanity is pushed to the very edge of extinction. Through sheer force of will and stubborn refusal to die, they survive. The victory at Red Valley ushers in a new era of human civilization. Though dangers wait among the stars, there are friends to be found as well. The Nemeans, an ancient race adept at wielding the power of Animus, often fight alongside humanity, and share the hope for a period of tranquility.

Over two-hundred years later, the struggling human race has become a glowing beacon among the stars. Hundreds of planets fall under the jurisdiction of Nexus government and Nexus Military is a veteran of dozens of wars within human space. The economy is fueled by lucrative trade agreements with numerous races spread across the Helix Stars. Still, there remains an uneasiness emanating from the Infernus Sector. Raids on nearby systems are a constant menace, and the local navies patrol too broad a front.

As more and more hostile activity is reported in the Agean sector near Infernus, Nexus Military grows increasingly suspicious. A carrier fleet is dispatched to Agea, along with several companies of mercenaries to assess the situation and advise Nexus Military on the threat posed to assets in the sector. The Agean sector is also the ancient home of the Nemeans, and they are quick to support the incoming human fleet. The Legion forces encountered quickly shadow the numbers first encountered duirng the Genesis war almost three-hundred years prior.
