Very cool...have something like this in my head i would like to do (more mario kart-ish), but i currently don't have the skills and just learning for now.

Much luck to your project. Once you do good i can forget about it and do something else :p (I just felt like there was a lack of a good fun fast paced racing game for the PC...you know the good ole days of F-zero and Mario Kart for the N64 :D)

WOW@ the demo. I was thinking volume triggers for check points, that would need to be coded (normal triggers could work too duh *hits head on desk*).

I don't know if the name is a bit to close to "WipeOut"?
