Hey guys I see that everyone is sharing the stuff they're been working on so I thought I would too ... My project so far doesn't really have a plot or maps or anything but I figured I would show you what I got then add onto it here when I start to fabricate it as a game.

So far I have one gun model into the game(only started a couple days ago and when you're new to modeling it takes awhile :P) , it's not textured or anything and the animations are ... well... choppy i guess you could say but i did everything quickly so i could test it...btw the map is not mine it is the example map from this tutorial( http://x9productions.com/blog/?page_id=361 )

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D7r6VQLFekY

Also I know I'm using Unreal's assets right now and that is just for testing purposes ...

Liked the vid left two possible generic names on there. I could write up on the weapon if you like? I've done those in the past.

Great work on the model. Hope to see it textured soon :)

Thanks for the link to the tutorial as well, thats the same style i modeled a car around 4 years ago with zbrush, to bad i forgot how i did it. Now to get me a student version of 3dsmax...

I've kind of got a SCAR in the works but modeling skills aren't quite up to par so it may be drastically worse than the pistol...update coming soon

hello again...i have an update which basically is just the SCAR ingame and I realized that when you push F8 ingame it kinda changes the render to like wireframe, unlit, etc...which is new to me ( and probably only me) that's what's happening in the start of the video...i may upload another video because i realized that video didn't really show off the weapon ... (which if I get farther in the project will prob get a poly/detail boost since the SCAR aswell as the Beretta are only 4000 poly)

I think the sCAR turned out alright for the first time modeling without tutorial it's not quite accurate and is lacking alot of details but w/e

enjoy

p.s. I feel that some of those render modes would make really cool games if it was always like that :p

Nice SCAR. I recognize alot of it from MW2, it looks quite similar, so good job there!

And about the render mode games, Wireframe would be ok, but that green just makes me sick xD.

ya I don't think I would seriously make a game with those they're all kind of overwhelming :P

but when I got it working ingame the part of my gun closest to me is being cut off ... does anybody know why this could be happening ...

nevermind turns out my weapon had been scaled down or something and a simple Scale=5.0 fixed it

good thing i thought the gun looked thin and felt like beefing it up or i never wouldve fixed it :p

Hey just a quick question, can you clarify as to how you added that ingame, ike if you made that in 3dsmax, where the skeleteal meshes made in 3ds as well or in Unreal Editor, and what file format did you export the skeletal mesh in, .psk using ActorX?. Also, the script for the weapon, can you please show me that if you dont mind . I am trying ot learn how to add a weapon into UC myself. :D
