Hi,
My name is Mats Johansson. Me and some of my former projectmembers from the Call Of Duty modification OpenWarfare have started a small group called TacReal Studios and a project for a FPS based using the UDK.
This recruitment might be a little premature since we do not have functional code but there will be quite some modelling as well as 2d art needed so i thought i would post it anyway. The project is at this point very fresh and input from team members are welcomed.
The team today is based on (US located) programmers/scripters only. We are programmers by trade but not in the game industry.
I can provide a full storyline for the project idea via pm/email but for now i will just post some basic pointers.
- Multiplayer only (bots can be used for lonewolfs)
- Modern time based weapons
- Human characters and vehicles, mixed urban rebels and military
- estimated timeline is (free)beta release in the august 2010 timeframe.
Here is the part i know you don't want to read but i write it anyway. It is an unpaid position. The game is intended to become a commercial product. A royalty based contract can be setup but i can not nor will i guarantee the financial outcome.
