Hi. As the title says, a two-man art and design team are looking for an unreal scripter with some free time, talented and learning alike, to help us realise a game project.
A little bit about us:
We both work in the game biz as a profession.
We were both moderators at the artist site; Game-Artist.net, CGSociety's Game art hub.
We both worked on the awesome game Prometheus - the award winning MSUC entry, currently running in the grand finals.
Been working with Unreal for a long time now, very proficient with it.
When not working on our paid stuff, we're always working on personal art projects, so we have a good amount of time to devote.
We know what makes games fun.
We're not slave drivers, we're not looking for someone to do our bidding, we're having fun working on this project and we want you to as well.
Like long walks on the beach.
Our personal portfolios:
Aaron Clifford: www.aaronjclifford.com (http://www.aaronjclifford.com)
Mike Brainard: www.mikebrainard.net
A little bit about the project:
It's not too ambitious to never realise. With all 3 of us working like a well oiled machine in our spare time, we can have a first build of the game up in a couple of months. We have a 'diluted' version of the game documented, and a teeny bit more ambitious version to be built upon the first release, with emphasis on character levelling/customisation, physics-oriented metagames (like arranging physics objects to create barricades, for example), etc.
It's casual and competitive alike.
Complete design document to get your teeth into.
It's based around co-operative gameplay, 4-player survival horror (fun survival horror, nothing that will get banned in Australia).
Will have AAA-level art, and with your help, AAA-level gameplay.
Stylised art direction.
Ideas welcome, we are flexible, and if you have good ideas and the will to help implement them, we're game.
Plan is to get it up on digital distributors when it's ready, using the UDK commercial, license.
Fun portfolio project at the moment, with a serious side - we are making and releasing this game come hell or high water.
We have a very simple build up at the moment, basically a menu screen is presented when you fire up the .exe, and clicking the one button throws you in to our test level. We have full access to our repository available with your name on it, ready to get your hands dirty, should you bee interested in joining.
Any more questions about us or the project, don't hesitate to ask.

Thanks!
Aaron and Mike.
