PolyBeast is looking for an enthusiastic and hard-working programmer to join it's ranks, to begin work on an exciting and experimental side-venture.
The programmer will initially be working solo to incorporate the core game mechanics, under the guidance of a Producer with extensive Unreal game programming experience. The programmer should be experienced with object orientated programming techniques in at least one curly-brace language, and Unreal experience in a multiplayer environment is preferred.
The project itself is a simple, competitive first person shooter with an emphasis on bipolar game mechanics, light and shadow and information warfare. It aims to be instantly identifiable with it's visual appearance, and novel in it's game mechanics.
The game has a commercial aim, with a view to digital distribution. Development should be relatively quick and lightweight, and the programmer may initially work at his or her own pace. All payment will be offered in a competitive royalty.
For more information, please don't hesitate to contact me at l.parkes-haskell[AT]polybeast.co.uk.
Thanks!
