View Full Version : Fracture Tool not working

Does anyone know why whenever I try to slice a fractured mesh it fails and says 'GenerateUVs failed, couldn't convert to a D3DXMesh'. I have followed Raven's vid tutorial to the ticket but still no luck. It also says this whenever I try to generate unique UV's for any static mesh. Any help would be appreciated.

Sometimes if the mesh's too complex or touches itself it won't work.
Give us a screenshot of your mesh pls

Well it's one of the UT static meshes, the one raven uses in his tutorial, it's called 'S_NEC_Walls_SM_CAWall_STRC', but i've tried it on a few meshes and it's the same. The strange thing is that it does sort of work (shooting the wall and it breaking,etc) but I'm not sure if the mapping is correct on the chunks.
