SO I decided to create a work in progress of my game. The game itself is a sort of fighting game about the gameplay It's really early compare to the amount of work I still have to do but I just wanted to share my latest progress.
This is my first and main character. It's still an early Wip but I'll manage to get more asset to show.

this is my first experiment for a level in UDK. The parking lot will be a one of the level.

I'm not going to use this version of this level. It's just for testing purpose. I'm already working on a better design.
thank for your time.
There is more picture of my work on my blog http://kankeine.blogspot.com/

Thanks for your comments. The chest is skinny on purpose. I trying to get an anime style but with some hi-detail. When I put some shader on it I hope it will be more clear.
the character is aboutr 1 million polygon. I've already a retopo mesh with roughly 5k, just need to uv the mesh and bake the hi version on it.

Keep us updated. I'm excited to see the low poly with a nice normal map on it

This is the reatime character. I bring the poly bugdet to 15 k per character because it's not and Rpg game. Maybe I'll down it a little because the difference between the 7k and a 15 is not that obvious, but for the animation is always better to have the good edge loop. I haven't set the normal mapped on face yet( but the hi version of the face is done).
I'm going to start texturing and I was wondering if a realistic texturing would spoil the anime cartoon mood.
I'm trying to get a middle ground solution, something between the latest prince of persia and the team fortress. Anyway I'll try to keep you updated.
I may start working on the gameplay.

So I finish my shader and I'm pretty happy with. The only problem is that I might change the art direction a little bit. So this character stand for place holder. I'll try do to something more or less manga ( think takeshi inoue mamoru oshi)

Hey man, do you know of any tutorials on how you properly use hairFX, the official site is a little vague. Good work by the way.

The outlines look a lot like Champions online's comic book style characters.

PLEASE NOTE: This isn't criticism, I'm just making a comment of my own opinion.
I really hate CelShading. Models looking pretty good though.
BTW, don't use Diffuse channel to add the creases in his clothes, use NormalMapping that way it reacts better to lighting.
