Hi

I just noticed that I have palm trees with leaf normals pointing in the wrong way. I noticed this when I was playing around with the transmission mask thing for two sided textures.

As you can see, even though the sun shines directly at the fronds, the whole thing is just dark. But on the other side it is lit. I also searched the whole damn speedtree modeler for an option to flip the leaf normals, but I couldn't find any :<

I'd appreciate if someone would be able to help.

I could have sworn that in the modeller, if you select the leaves, there is an option to "flip" which essentially flips the normals. I'll send screen.

Hurrhurr, yea, there was an option for that. But with those example palm trees the actual leaf part is done as a frond. But I managed to flip the whole spline over and adjusting the leafs accordingly. Thanks anyway ;)

PS. Can't see your pic.
