Hello, to the people reading this.

My name is Quitin D Hutchison, I would say I am a new & die hard hobbyist modeler.

I want to help make something new, I am so sick of cookie cutter games. just cuz the UDK is out doesn't mean that we have to make a UT3 clone. I am available to work on models anytime, as of now I just selling models on turbo squid. so I'm modeling all day anyway.

I am a mood modeler, "hummm" let me explain... I have to immersed myself in the theme of a model. If it where an egyptian theme I would watch lots of movies like the mummy, & spend a week or so googleing egypte, & playing games like prince of persia & tumb radder. I have to get in the mood.

I haven't had any formal training in 3D art, nor have I been modeling long. but I do have the 3D bug. it's all I really do anymore =)

I work with 3Ds MAX 2010 &, ZBrush 3.1, here is just some of my work.

If you would like my help, I do ask that you have concept art & a good idea of what you want to make. So I can better acclimate myself to the theme of the game.

Witch means lots of modeling references ready to go.

Hi I'm the lead modeller of the malazan project.

Malaz is the world created by Steven Erikson and Ian Cameron Esslemont. It is one of the most detailed, and epic pieces of fantasy fiction created in the last ten years.

Our aim, currently, is to recreate a small bit of that world; Malaz Island.

We have spent a long time working out exactly how to do this, and now we are moving forward with the actual development. The project will be carried out in the Unreal Development Kit, essentially a free version of the full Unreal Engine, which we can develop in until we make sales, at which point a royalty is applied. However, before going into full development of our vision, we are going to simply create a small slice of what we wish to achieve, in order to show the authors that we can bring their world to life, and obtain a license from them.

From the ground up that means every model is going to be built by the team.

I like your work especially the chess one, and I hope that you will join us.

I will be sending you a pm with how to get in contact with us if you are interested.

If you want to know more, before joining please send me a pm and I'll get back to you.

John King (Lead Modeller of Malazan Project)

What I didn't like is that, as far as I can see, there is no low poly or in game models. You might want to add some to your portfolio when you get the chance if you're going to post on a game engine's forums.

Actually, can you whip up one or two pics of industrial set pieces. If you look on my forum you can get a basic look at how I want my project to develop over time. You can find information here if you're interested in helping me:
