In the docs it says "the characters should be modeled and rigged facing down the +Y axis in Max", so I was wondering why in the example (UT3) models I downloaded for max the model and rigg are faceing -Y?
Is it model and rigged on the +Y the once you've done everything do you just rotate it to face -Y for export?
sorry if this sound stupid but I'm jst a little confused about it.
Thanks.
Edit-Solved: Actually now that I think about it, the example (UT3) rig/meshes I downloaded where converted from maya to fbx. I converted the fbx to lightwave then from lightwave converted them to max (as I only have max 7 and couldn't use the max 9 versions of the examples). Being that these files I downloaded came from Maya the model faceing -Y makes sense(as stated in the docs). So I did a test model and rig exporting from max faceing +Y and it lined up in the engine no problem. well that resolves that :).
