Hello Everyone,
K9GamingStudios is currently looking for Team Members for our upcoming Project, a Fast Paced Military FPS Game. Since, this is our First Project and we intend to keep it simple & to the point.
About the Game:
Real world scenarios, with raging conflicts between two rival factions. Weapons & Gears will be based on Real World Inventories of the said Rival Factions. So, please do not Expect a Plasma Canon ;)
Game will focus on Competitive Multiplayer Combat on Maps with Urban Settings. So, the action will be really fast-paced & heart-pounding, with different modes of Gameplay.
We are working on a Class System, which will be revealed at a later point of time. But, we intend to keep it simple.
Team Members:
We are looking for a Small but Dedicated Team, who are really motivated to do something different & go that extra mile to do something extraordinary yet down to earth :)

Game AI & Logic Scripter/Programmers
Texture Artists
3D Character/Props Modelers
Characters & Weapons Animators
Level/Environment Artists
Is this a Paid Project?
No, for now the Project is not a Paid Project. But, once the Project goes through to Commercial Stage all Team Members will be suitably compensated.

Looks very promissing and it's really an interesting project. Too bad I'm too green to join, still got a lot to learn about UnrealScript. But good luck with it guys.

Project Update - 22nd December' 2009
We are looking forward in making a "Promotional Demo" to showcase the Gameplay Mechanics we will be carrying forward in our main Project.
We are looking forward for the Following Talents
1 X Weapons Modeler
Must be able to Texture & Animate them as well. Weapons & Item will be based on Real World Inventories.
1 X Special Effects Artist/Supervisor
Must be able to Create Grenade Blasts, Muzzle Flashes, Bullet Trails, RPG Blast/Impact etc. Also, Environmental Effexts like Rain, Snow, Daylight Cycle (Not needed Exactly), Custom Skyboxes etc etc.
1 X Unreal Script/Programming Expert
Must be able to do anything & everything with UDK Scripting & Programming. Since our Project is a Multiplayer Game, must be able to implement new custom Gameplay Styles to the existing Multiplayer Options.
1 X Character Modeler & Animator
Player Models, Animations, Texturing them based on the Concept Arts etc.
I personally will be doing Props & a bit of Weapons Modeling (I suck @ Texturing, i admit). Plus, we have 2~3 more guys. So, I guess we will be done real Quickly.
Please Remember: There will be Compensation for Members working on the Project. Both During the Development & After the Game Goes Commercial.

added you to my skype contact list. As you can see from my post on the GotSkills section, I can do several things such as:
Create realistic acting weapons that have Reload, and sighting systems. Anything from RPG's, Assault Riffles, Sniper Riffles, Melee weapons, Shotguns. If you have seen it in just about any realistic FPS, I can replicate it.
Have also dealt with customizing UT3's game types and HUD system. Depending on the amount of work, this may be more than a one man job here. Please keep me posted on your opinion ;)

Couple of questions:
How will this be different from existing FPS Military games like Call of duty and Battlefield? The class thing is one thing I see. But that's not really a notable difference, as the roles you play in a war game are actually classes. Your system will just encourage different roles.
What will the level of realism be? Will you get killed after 2 shots like in Counter Strike or will you survive multiple shots and get the opportunity to recover?
My last question: Will there be any other features, that havn't been explored in yetin this type of game?

All FPS Games share similarities, CoD, BF, HL, CSS all have similarities. This game will explore new areas which have not been done before. Realism is what we are aiming for, there will be other features too. The level of realism will be to that level till which the Gameplay is enjoyable, it wont be a simulator that i can say.
There will be some New Features in the Game, which will be there to make the Gameplay more Fun & less grinding for Points/Stats.

Wow a lot of updates, I am working on my own project buy I was wondering if you know Dinesh , is he on your team, K9Gaming? Hey btw I am indian too haha, I am just trying get a lot of the indian community organized, BTW happy independance day tomorrow, Jai Hind! :D:D
