So here is a trick for the veterans.
The height map file is pretty long and detailed. So what I have done is no small feat in itself.... I created a program to read topo maps and translate the data.
But what I was wondering is the height map scale, and structure.
So lets say I took the state of .... Colorado... and translated it to topo. I would really like the scaling features and how to translate the topo details in to a height map.
Anyone know how this would be possible?
