Hi
I have recently started to use this really cool tool and was wondering if it is possible to import and use some of the really cool content made for UE3?
I have found some .upk files but can't find out exactly how I import them into UDK if it is even possible.
And if some of you have some links to extra content that could be used to make maps it wound be awesome :D

1. Make the model in a 3rd party 3d modeling software, like Blender or 3ds Max.
2. Export it as an .ase file.
3. In UDK click the import button in the content browser and import the model and all related textures
4. Make the material for the model by using those textures you just imported
5. Assign the material to the static mesh (model)

So .ase files are the only filetype I can use?

Tip: don't use other people's mod assets without their permission, unless you are just messing around with it privately. But definitely do not release something using other people's work..

Hi all! I have a problem to import my mesh to UDK. I want to import a car, which consist many parts, and when I importing model, all parts of the car importing as a separate meshes. How to solve this problem?

2. Export it as an .ase file....
Okay, here goes...
My Milkshape PSK Exporter does nothing, so I decided to open up Blender and give it another try.
My Blender export options do not include PKS or ASE as file format options for exports.
Do I need a plugin or converter for those formats to be export options in Blender, and if so where is it? (saw none at Blender's website)
I did get a static mesh in from Milkshape using the COLLADA format (.dae), so I guess that might be another option.
