Hello Everyone!
My name is Dan Rozen. I've been lurking in these forums since before the Y2K phenom and always been in envy of people that possess such great knowledge of this particular Engine. Much has happened since, heck, I've even got myself a copy of the UDK now.
We are in an era of collaboration. I myself, have a background of putting teams together (a coordinator if you will), mainly for motion pictures. Now, it's time to transition into the world of gaming.
The task is simple, to create a prototype-game (By no means, a game like Prototype). The prototype will when done, feature it's own unique dialogue-system, a new take on cameras within the UDK-development suite and a cinematic approach on storytelling.
What is expected of you?
As a Programmer - You should have a great knowledge of UnrealScript and basic understanding of C++ , C and C-Sharp (.net).
As an Animator - You should master rigging and animation, being able to work with pre-made 3D meshes or your own.
As a Level Designer - That you got good knowledge of UDK features, including Kismet and Matinée, that you work fast both with Sub. and Add. method.
Writing, Composing and VFX is my area of expertise. I got access to a great 3D artist and working alongside a Cinematographer.
More details will be presented to applicants through Mail.
I've met alot of interesting people through the years and I hope to meet some new faces on here as well. Don't hesitate to contact me.
Best Regards,
Dan
