View Full Version : Max or Maya exporter to UDK

Hi there, I'm noob to this engine :D Is there anyway or plugin for Max or Maya so that I can export a model with textures to a format that can import to UDK?
If there is, can you give me the link or instruction?

for staticmeshes, you want to export as ASE, which max and maya both initially support. for animations you will need epic's plugin (also for max or maya) called Actorx - http://udn.epicgames.com/Three/ActorX.html

And at least I don't know a way to export them with textures. I always import the textures one by one into the editor.

if you want to design levels with static meshes I suggest you also get level tools for maya / it's next to the bonus tools on autodesk area downloads.
