I don't suppose anyone has heard of someone working on a ASE or better yet a PSA and PSK exporter from Houdini? It's something that would be quite nice indeed.

Shouldn't you be doing some kind of movie effects or something? :p Jokes aside, no I don't think so.

yes Houdini is more at home doing effects, but it's also got a great workflow for working with a group of artists. Actually, I just remembered there's a Collada exporter from Houdini so I'll give that a try.

houdin seems to be integrated more and more intro the game dev pipelines. from the high-end like the killzone series to the hobbyist-end like the torque exporter that now is integrated into the app itself.

it would be intresting if houdini was supported along with the established 3d studios as it bring some radical modeling and animation tools.

if you have access to maya/max you could link them with houdini via fbx and then use the native actorx/facefx pipeline

true true, FBX is a good way in and out of Houdini.
