Hi, as you can see from my post count, I'm new here. I got the Unreal UDK when I found out it was free, (thanks to Epic for that), and I've done pretty well in sussing how to use the content browser and level building...
The problem is that I've got a load of media I want to use in UDK, but they're in a .X file format for use in another engine I'm planning to move away from. Does anyone know of a good converter to get these Unreal-ready?
Thanks to anyone who replies.

You must have made them in a 3d application, so why not re-export them?

I didn't make them, they were downloads that I bought/downloaded, for another game engine, I got the ones that were licensed for other engines together, I just need a good way to get them into Unreal...

You can import them into blender then use actor x to export them for the engine.

I just checked Actor X out, it looks like it only has Plugins for Maya, Max and Softimage XSI...
All I own are Fragmotion, Blender and Milkshape 3D...
There is an Actor X script available for blender. The script is not made by Epic so it can be a bit picky at times.
You can download its here.: http://code.google.com/p/unrealtacticalmod/downloads/list
There is some info on using it here. http://code.google.com/p/unrealtacticalmod/wiki/Main_Tutorial_Lessons
Note Actor X is used for importing skeletal and animated meshes into Unreal Ed. If you want to import static meshes, say objects for build levels etc you have to export them as ASE. Luckily there's a Blender script for that too.

I haven't tried it yet but the 2.44 + version by Goofos seems like the most compatible.
