In Infestation you play as a mercenary who's job is to go to areas heavily populated with mutant bugs (think oversized bugs) and remove all presence of them from the area. We are planning to implement 4 player co-op but it is not 100% set due to UDK not having online play atm.

The missions will take place in exciting locations including a lost aztec city, a laboratory in a volcano and many more. You will also get to pilot mech vehicles to help fight of the mutant bug hoard.

The game will feature alot of enemy's on screen at once and they will swarm at you. We are planning to make most of the maps destructible with the fracture tool and make it so the level changes depending on how "destroyed" the level is. As an example imagine a building with a ladder up to the roof. After the building gets attacked alot you may decide it will be better to hold out inside the building rather than on top.

The enemy's will also come in many different sizes. Like there will be many little bugs that just swarm you and distract you from the bigger enemy's. There will also be boss bugs that are huge, like 5 times your size that you will have to fight off.

One scenario for a mission is a cliff side house next to the ocean has a mech recharging on the roof and you come under attack from bugs. They start to attack the support beams that stop the house from falling into the ocean. You defend the house until the mech is fully charged then you fight back the bugs and escape. We are planning to use the new fracture tool on the walls and objects in the house to make the house realistically fall apart from the bug assault.

So far we are looking for:
2 Modelers
1 person that can script in unreal

We already have a level designer and concept artist on the team.

If you are interested in helping please let us know. You can either email me at brayden94@internode.on.net or leave a message below.

Would you mind elaborating on the game a bit more, right now I am imagining "Natural Selection 2"

This is an uncommon enemy which wont be seen in large numbers.

Hate when people ask these questions. I actually model and design levels.

No offense, but the majority of threads like these when people asks for help in all general areas usually turns out to be from a person who only brainstormed an idea but can't do anything themselves.

You can and hence I give thumbs up. I just recommend you add that information to your post, I believe that will help you with recruiting.

You’re going to have a bit of a hard time finding people willing to join your project. You have little to show aside from concept art and a "base" idea. If you want to attract the more professional maybe a link to a complete design doc along with pictures of the work you already have done on the game.

Im working on it now. We are actually working on getting a playable build ready so we can show a video of how the game will look.

Here's a little tip: If you're going to try and sell your writing skills, you might actually want to use punctuation and "you" instead of "u" when you write up your "selling post". People will take you more seriously that way.

That post just clarified how immature and unprofessional you are. Sorry but we wont have you on the team.
