This is a single player map in an urban setting. The objective is for Marcus and Dom to drop in behind enemy lines, eliminate all opposition, and secure the main Lecture Hall for a future HQ! During this time Gus and Baird will be on their own mission heading to meet you within the Lecture Hall for the possible extraction.

I am really looking for some feedback as to possible bugs, glitches, blocking volumes issues, etc. Any general feedback is appreciated.

I added another download link for Filefront as you requested. I hope this helps smooth things along for you and future downloaders. You can also download directly from my website if the need arises.

Thx, downloaded several hours and finished, played it, i played all custom sp and i can say this is one of the best sp campaign till now, it's a night time map, although all levels include outdoor and indoor areas seems a little dark, maybe added more light to see clear could be better, like the official night maps, but gameplay no big problem.

At first level sometimes due to the too narrow corridor Dom could get stuck, he just can't move and block the way, but anyway, no big bugs met, i love the second level, really big wide open area, many objects but optimized very well, also the gaint buildings looks really beautiful, the overall battle even more funnier than original gears campaign, i think the author grasped the true gameplay theory, that's what we need most, it makes gears more like a big war and the rhythm of battle: stopping hide and rushing out continue is almost perfect done, the levels design not only looks good but also fitted the gameplay, the balance is well made. The last levles is a big stage, not many place to move, just hide and shoot, finally the berserker broke out the wall, but to be continued shows and game over. Although minutes gameplay, it will take a long time to make such a good campaign like this, nice work man.

Thank you very much for the reply and critique of the level designed. I put alot of time and effort into building this map for the community considering our low chance of having Gears of War 2 ported to PC. If this isn't going to happen I have decided to take the time and make custom maps as professional as I possibly can in order to give the starving community more.

I do plan to add another act to this as you can see by the ending. This might take anothertwo months to complete but I would rather take the time and get it as perfect as possible with high quality, then to just bust out subpar levels weekly! Once again thank you for the reply and the time you spent playing it, it means alot.

Thanks

thx man, so there will be another long waiting for the next step, i always love to play with bots and played those bot maps for a long time, like Lance mod deathmatch and Horde maps from this forum, but for sp i just played 2 and 3 times, since the gameplay is always the same, it's predictable, repetitive and that's why people all focus on mp. Sorry to see not many mappers make Horde now, mainly focus on mp and sp, also sicne the possibility of gears 2 pc port is low, i think gears pc is burying into dust sooner or later....Anyway those buildings and details in this sp is really great work, brings some gears 2 feelings, if it could last longer, more waves battle for a long time, that would be awesome.

Hello,

Been playing GOW for a good while now and a buddy suggested that i download your map a few days ago and give it a shot. Im not incrediably computer literate. However I took the advice and came to these forums for new maps and so forth to play for GOW and after playing your map i descided that i need to reply to your post here just to let you know what i think. It's great, its indeed one of the best maps i've played. It's intense plain and simple. I play it over and over. I see no problems with anything except it is a little dark and hard to see at some times traversing through but nothing major.

I would like see more unique maps like this. Had i not know anybetter or had i just tried playing this at my friend i would have thought it was a release from epic themselves.

Great job on the map and post when you have more you wanted played.
