Are they the correct file format and dimensions?

They have to be powers of two - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Power_of_two#The_0th_through_70th_powers_of_2

There are two requirements:

1) They have to be .TGA
2) They have to be a power of 2, meaning the width*height of the texture must be 2^something. A few examples:
256*256
512*512
1024*1024
1024*512
256*64
2048*512

Yeah, well i woudnt buy those Eat3D tutorials, not just because of the redicolous price of 55$ for a 650mb download version of a tutorial (your paying 55$ for a download link, comon, even pro 3d 4-5gb tutorials come alot cheaper with DVD), but also because of the price combined with that its for UT3, and there quite a decent amount of changes thats happened to the editor.

You may very well end up with a 55$ "product" that may be a bit useful, but not in the long run.

Ive already downloaded over 5 gig free video tutorials.

I suggest you download this one

http://www.fileplanet.com/195413/190000/fileinfo/Unreal-Tournament-3---3D-Buzz-Video-Tutorial-Materials

Its free atleast.
