I haven't really done much with UDK much other then finger the newest features, lol, but I can't get postprocessing to work. I haven't tried a volume yet, but in the world properties they don't work. I can mess with all the features, and none of it shows up in the viewport or in game. Is there some magical checkbox that I'm missing or is it really not working? Even after rebuilding all it still has no effect.

I noticed that the PP only works when you switch to game mode by hitting the "G" key. Try that, it should work.

no, even then it only shows what was already there when I DLed the udk. If I edit the post processing it has no effect. even setting scene desaturation to 1 it makes no difference.

Suggestions?
Depending on what level you are viewing, they may be using a volume rather than the World Properties. For example in Sandstorm, they are using a massive PP Volume, not the World Properties.
Also, if you toggle off the Post Process Volume Previs button on the top of your viewport, it will disable the PP volumes but continue to show whatever the world properties say.
Hope this helps.

Yes, you're right. Just discovered that before reading your post.
