Hey guys,

So, I've noticed a significant drop in framerate between the UT3 version of Hazard and the UDK version, which is set up to graphically do exactly the same thing. Same materials, same post processing, etc. It doesn't have any of the advanced post processing stuff that is the default in the UDK, it's just my line rendering.

I'm wondering if someone can help me out with knowing what config variables I should change that should help get my framerate back up a bit, because obviously something has changed in settings somewhere, given I was able to get a smooth 60FPS in UT3, and only get like 30FPS in the UDK.

Basically, I don't need mega mega high detail or any new fancy UE3 stuff going on. My whole game is just dynamic lights, edge detection, scene captures and a bit of fancy material work to tie things together.

Thanks,
- Alex

Hm. Disabling as much as I can in the UTEngine.ini System Settings (see: almost everything) doesn't appear to affect anything, nor does deleting all lights in my game. I'm thinking my issue is just to do with the amount of BSP I have in my game.

Yes, I have a problem of similar nature. Before I get my hands on some decent desktop (which might take few months) I am bound to use a laptop which barely managed to run everything there.
What file should I edit to alter default starting options of the game so everything is more manageable?
