Is that possible?

I mean i have a complete scenario that i have composed inside max, and i would like to import it to UDK as is, not every part and then recompose all together.

Is that possible?

Cheers.

It would be very ill advised to try and import a whole environment as a single mesh. It throws the whole purpose of using an optimised engine out of the window. Slice it up, and import as smaller meshes (around 8k polygons maximum was a healthy measure when working with similar structures in UE3 a few years ago).

So there is now way to export this as a complete scenario and UDK recognise this as separate meshes, is it?
Ok, no prob, thanks for the answer :)

I'm not sure I if understand what you are asking for exactly, but one trick if you have set up a whole environment i max you can export the models one by one (or with a script) in their present position. Because when you export to ASE the engine always places the model's pivot at max's world (0,0,0) regardless of the model's real pivot point in max, all the models will be automatically positioned correctly in relation to each other if you position them all on the same grid point in unreal.
