Hi, I am simply asking for any information regarding UDK and if it will be working in OSX environment in the foreseeable future.

I wouldn't get your hopes up as to ever seeing an OSX version.

Well, I will second that request. I am not counting on seeing a version for Mac anytime soon, but it would make sense to head in that direction. i would be very happy if I never needed to open the Bootcamp side of my Mac's.

Possibly through wine as opposed to boot camp?

Nah, bootcamp is rock solid and gives me the full power of windows, drivers and all. Its cool to see an open source program that runs windows under a different hood.

i second that ^ i've been using an intel mac with bootcamp for years and its natively a windows machine. in fact its a much BETTER windows machine than many windows machines ive used, mainly because apple make the hardware and apple wrote most of the drivers - so compatibility issues are practically nonexistant. the one exception to this seems to be graphics drivers but theyre not too hard to sort out.
if you can get over switching from osx to win then you'll be fine. honestly, after spending more than 2 years in win, i cant go back to osx.

If my vote here counts - I would like to see an OSX version of the UDK as well.

One can always really really hope that UDK would run on mac. I can wait.:D
Just throwing in some support for this, and Linux as well. If these platforms were to ever become relatively mainstream for gaming, it would start out small, and this would be a great start :)

First off, I am new to the forum. Secondly, I am running a Macbook Pro with the following Specs:
Processor Name: Intel Core 2 Duo
Processor Speed: 2.66 GHz
Number Of Processors: 1
Total Number Of Cores: 2
L2 Cache: 3 MB
Memory: 4 GB
Bus Speed: 1.07 GHz
Boot ROM Version: MBP53.00AC.B03
(if that helps at all)
Anyway, if I were to run the bootcamp program, would the UDK work on my computer?

Need to know your video card to be able to tell, but the rest of the specs look fine.

you're fine. I have a Macbook Pro from 2007 (8600M GT) and can play UT3, and use the editor with no problems at all.

I would also love to see an OS X version of the UDK. I use Bootcamp, but I prefer working in OS X. At the very least, I would like the UDK to be able to make OS X versions of games.
