None of the sky boxes are showing up in the sample game. all i see is pitch black up there. Everything else is working and running fine.

also, is there an options menu in it, or do i have to do it manually through the console?

System specs:

win xp sp2
amd phenom II x2 550 black
2 gigs memory
nvidia 7900 GT pci-e
western digital sata hd

They should be visible. Sounds like an issue with the skydome meshes themselves. Is there anything in the log files (UTGame/logs)?

These are the warnings i found in the log:

Is there a white rim in between the world and the black sky dome? This was an issue on that type of NVIDIA card that was fixed in their drivers a while back. Please make sure you're on the latest drivers for your card.

I last did my drivers in september. So I updated them today. No luck then. Then tried re-installing the udk, still no luck.

There is either a white or yellow rim too.

I think it is time to start pricing out a new card :p

Also having this problem with my 7800GT with latest drivers.

Heres a shot:

Also my DXDiag output: DxDiag.txt (http://users.tpg.com.au/adsl77le/DxDiag.txt)

Some additional info though: This doesn't occur with the "single player" style example map, and it also shows up in the editor unless I've pressed the 'f' key. Also moving closer to the skybox allows it to appear indicating that it might be related to the farplane or culling distance.

I'm getting it too on a 7950GT, although I am using an old driver. In Deck you can see the sky if you look directly up but if you look out the sides it's black with a white glow around the edges. Other maps seem to just have the black sky all over.

I have the same problems. With every UDK game.
My NVidia driver is up-to-date (191.07). I have Windows XP and a 7600 GT.

The interesting part: I have the full version of Unreal Tournament 3, too. And I have no problems. It just looks fine.

My opinion is hence: It's an UDK issue.

This is a known issue that currently affects Nvidia 6/7 series cards.

So I'm guessing there is no quick fix for us 7 series users then?
