I am an award-winning writer and professional game developer seeking freelance work while transitioning to a teaching career. My focus is on paid work, but feel free to contact me regardless of finances. I may start my own mod project, so maybe we can help each other.
My experience: http://adobbs.com/portfolio/
If you are a professional developer, I offer design, development, and writing services. My rate is $15/hr, and I will also work for a project-based fee.

Writing, code, and design samples are available upon request. Thanks!

It seems people have the most interest in finding capable programmers, so I wanted to re-emphasize that I am available for programming work in addition to design/writing.
Depending on how things work out, I may start my own project, and would be seeking teammates, particularly an artist.

Hey, you're portfolio is very impresive. In the coming weeks I'll probably need your service with an unrealscript problem I have. I assume that's what you mean by programming?
I say weeks because next week I'll be home from 6 months in Canada so obviously I'll have that to deal with that first and money is a little issue right now.
But if you're interested please contact me at: toby_ahearn@hotmail.com

Hi I'm here to speak on the behalf of the Malazan Project and say that we are interested to find out if you are willing to work with us.
There is a recruitment thread for us http://forums.epicgames.com/showthread.php?t=707648, but feel free to pm me or email @ johnikins@hotmail.co.uk

General King: Do you have rights or permission to use the Malazan intellectual property? I'm all for doing anything you want with an IP as long as you aren't trying to make money, but I'm not sure the authors would be. There's a lot of mods out there set in someone else's universe that eventually get shut down, and that's the main thing I'd be worried about.

A colleague of mine has put some clarifications on where we stand with IP in our recruitment thread.
Firstly, we would like to assure any potential recruits that we have been in contact with the estate's of the authors who have written the series of books in question, and specifically with Steven Erikson himself.
A mutual agreement has been reached between all relevant parties, that before we are licensed to create an entire RPG, set in the Malazan world, we must first create a short demo- in order for the authors to be able to better understand our interpretation of their universe and continuity.
