I'll keep this real simple, but I'm looking for some help on the content side for Unreal Demolition (http://www.unrealdemolition.net). I've got the code (mostly) ported over, but due to the obvious lack of content, I've got to make a new set of maps. As it is, I've wanted to switch to using a custom vehicle/vehicles for a while, so this seemed like as good of a chance as any.

What I'm looking for:

Artists/LDs to create new maps for the various Unreal Demolition modes. Custom assets are requested to avoid any possible future licensing issues w/ the Epic stock content.
Artist or artists to create custom vehicles to move away from using the Scorpion as the standard vehicle.
Programmer or programmers to help on implementing new tech for UD. At this point, the big things look to be implementation of a menu structure similar to UT's (obvious current lacking system options in UDK) as well as some major cleaning up of netcode. If multiple vehicles become possible, the project would also need a smooth way to preview and switch between vehicles.

If you're interested, you can contact me at unrealdemolition@gmail.com.

shenksmill,
This seems like a pretty interesting project. I do have a few questions. What kind of game is this? I'm assuming its just Demollition Derby type stuff. But is it also vehicular combat kind of like twisted metal? Second, What time zone are you in? and how often do you work on the project?

I have mapping experience in both Hammer, and the COD/Quake engines. I'm looking to start working in the UT3 Engine.

Right now it's all demo derby type stuff. Given the right team, expanding out to weapons based modes would be possible (and has been planned to some extent), but going that route requires a somewhat larger team to complete the necessary assets.

As for me, I'm in Pacific time zone, but my general hours of being awake (10am->3am) align me to be able to communicate with people in most time zones. My work schedule is a bit varied, but I do get in on a minimum week a couple days of decent work on the project. As it is, I've just wrapped up production on this (http://www.attackofthe50ftrobot.com/), which has opened up a huge amount of hours for me to work on other projects.

umm i have never really used any engines before and i just got UDK 2 days ago, but i am an artist and i think i could design some vehicles for you. all i need is a description of what you would like them to do. it will be good practice for me because one day i plan on being a game designer. just a quick question, do i need modeling experience for this? because i dont have a modeling program like maya yet.anyway im interested in your project so let me know if anything ok? im in the eastern time zone btw. thanks for the opportunity.
