Hallo
Since the unreal engine in well known for the great support of the Xbox and Microsoft(natal demos, shadow complex...) I’m wondering if there will be a opportunity in the future to release games that was developed with UDK at Xbox Live Arcade?
I have recently mastered my bachelor dissertation in gamedesign and finished university, now I’m planning to start a own business but thirst of all I’m collecting information’s...
Because I have written my bachelor dissertation about a ut3 mod project this could be a great start into the future for me und because of this I’m interested in all possible distribution models that are thinkable.
Is there a opportunity to bring a game developed with udk to xbla?

I too hope for an answer to this. Maybe look through the licensing docs?

You need source code access to do this, and the UDK does not offer you that. You need to convince Microsoft or some publisher to help you. You need a proper office. There is a lot of difficult TRC to go through. And the list goes on. It is not very easy at all.

Of the three platforms, I would say Xbox is the hardest to release it on.

You would be best to build this for PC first, put down a great game, and then use that to convince Epic, MS, or a third party publisher to help you bring it to XBLA.
