Any of these avail to look at esp the player chrs with the joints and animations?

http://udn.epicgames.com/Three/UT3Mods.html You have the UT3 characters for 3dsmax at the bottom of that page. If you need it for Maya you can download my character rig which has the UT3_Male file converted and ready for animation. The clean fbx file is included.

No animations though, but those are available in the editor so shouldn't be a problem. :)

thanks for the info, I do remember having them a while ago wasn't sure with the new UDK if new stuff was released.
