series 6 guesses

with series 5 more or less out now anyone wanna guess whats coming out with the mauler in the next set, im guessing:

COG
-redone baird
-redone cole (heavily I hope)

Locust
-Mauler
-wretches or a new theron

I'm guessing Mauler, Grenadier, Theron Guard, and Baird. I'd really like to see a Stranded figure. Given the number of parts NECA has at their disposal, a Stranded would be easy. We could also see a Beast Rider Drone - the head on the Beast Rider Grenadier is a drone head which I find amusing. We could also see A.Carmine repackaged as a COG Soldier with the new body.

There was some rumor going around that the Butcher or Mauler was going to be an Amazon.com exclusive...anyone remember hearing this?

also, I started sculpting a Kryll tonight...lol...we'll see how it comes out.

I'd really prefer they don't release any re-done figures in the series anymore, bit tired of having 4 marcus's, 2 dom's, don't need 2 bairds/2coles to add to it to. They can release them as stand alone packs or 2 packs would be nice.

Leave the damn series to new figures so we can keep the collections building not stagnate em :(

I agree with 147. Show the COG some love, NECA! How about a redone Cole and Baird, plus Dizzy and Tai? Would probably make lots of people happy. And an Anya figure would be cool to have, too.

I think it should always be 50/50. Half Locust, Half COG.
For series 6, there's gonna be a Boomer variant, more than likely the Mauler. Along with it, I'd guess at some sort of figure using the new COG soldier body like a new Baird.
As for the rest of it, perhaps some more Grenadier variants, since NECA are working through those guys now.

Yes, to make every series more attractive enough for people to buy.. NECA needs enough COG figures till the very last Series.

If they give out every COG solider now, then people might not be so interested to buy the future series.. becuase they would have got all their Fav figures by then...

So NECA saves the best for the last...
I have a feeling that, we will be seeing lots of new Marcus and DOM with "With new Articulation" sticker :D

Well, i picked up a boomer and beast rider earlier today....I can pretty much say without a doubt that series 6 will have a Beast Rider Drone. He's on the back of the package of the Beast Rider Grenadier (which is not just Beast Rider...the words Grenadier are on there.)

So we've got the Mauler, Beast Rider Drone, and 2 mystery figures. I'm still betting heavily on a redone Baird or COG Soldier w/ A.Carmine Helmet. The fourth figure is up for grabs if the two aren't Baird and a COG. Chances are though it'll be Baird and A.Carmine style COG Soldier.

The mighty and powerful Oz has spoken! lol

sweet, I was going to get a couple of spare beast riders for parts to MAKE a beast rider drone and a lambent grenadier elite with the spare armour, speaking of which, what paint could I put/wash on the gren elite armour to make it look burned like the lambent? im a custom noob lol

Well, the Lambent armor is RED initially then with a dark green/brown wash which fades the color dramatically.

And the Beast Rider Grenadier Head can be popped off and put on a drone...lol. I'm thinkin about taking some pics of it.

Yeah sure, but let's not forget about the 11 drones, 3 grenadiers, 3 Therons, the Boomer, the Ticker and the Lambent.
