Ok so my roommate and I both have an Xbox 360 and we both love gears of war 2. The problem is since we live in the same house we have to share the same router as connecting 2 individual modems/routers does not work. At first we did not expect this to be a problem, but for some reason we are unable to find matches together only in gears of war 2... we can find matches instantly in every other game, tomorrow i want to upgrade my internet to T1 for the better connection but I'm afraid its the router that is the issue... we have tried 2 different routers a D-Link and a Linksys both seem to have strict nat settings which I cant change for some reason... I tried the whole port forwarding scenario but the problem is you can only forward a port to one ip address through your router config, and we have 2 individual xbox's playing simultaneously so that does not work.. and i don't know what to do and after we wait 30 minutes to find a match it ends up having horrible connection/lag switching baddies. can anyone please advise?
