Hello everyone,

I have finished these a while back but never posted the full versions.

"Against All Odds" took about a month and a half with documentation.

"Solitary" was a longer project and took two to three months to finish.

The levels can be downloaded on my site with a ReadMe and documentation if interested

I also have a thread going in another forum if anyone is willing to help. I opened the editor after three months of inactivity and have a number of errors when cooking the same maps that worked originally. This has never happened before and any help is appriciated.

Thank you, appreciate it.

Hope someone here can shed some light on my publishing problem. I need to make cinematic videos of my work and that, unfortunately, is impossible without recooking the levels. No idea what this may be...

Why do you need the map file to be cooked in order to have working cinematic? (using Matinee, correct?)
You don't need to cook in order to play. Just copy/paste your level in your published directory.

I need to disable the hud with kismet to refraps the levels. And either way I would like to be able to come back and make changes or updates, at the moment that is not an option.

played them, Against All Odds got some tough battle at first, optimized very well, even it's a big map and a lot of cogs, locust, no framerate drop, only thing need more is lighting, too dark to see things, love the long train, finally reach the Raven and get out.

Solitary is a round prison battle, get in elevator up and down, good cut scene and script, its fun to see those wretches coming from ceilings, and shoot them one by one. reach the raven again and over...both maps gameplay are not vey long but we can see it really need a long time to make such a good campaign, made me respect Epic more, thx for all the nice work...

This is the pattern you should be getting:
My Games\Gears of War for Windows\WarGame\Published\CookedPC\Maps\CustomMaps \MapnameHere.war

Then open mapnamehere

Edited the above post.

Haven't slept in a while so feel really dumb. Kept putting in my initials after open instead of SP

example:

open PT-levelname instead of SP-levelname :)

Still would like to know why the game doesn't let me cook anything.

Posted a video of one of the levels on my website. Check it out before downloading to see if it's something you like.

I downloaded solitary, and it seems none of the buttons work. When i kicked the door nothing happened.

I looked in the overview of the level, it looked awesome. Ill try and see if i did something wrong.

Was this a school project or something you're planning on using in your professional portfolio? Just want to make sure I'm giving appropriate feedback. :)
