Well the locust pack seems a good buy, but I think i'll pass on the cog set (actually in saying cog, it got me thinking, how about a cog soldier 2 pack?) since I already have 3 marcuses and a dom. Only reason for me to get it is if they've been updated with peg holes on the backs and dom's right hand being reshaped so he can grip a lancer.

I have four Marcus figures and will soon have five when I buy the Marcus in his Theron Disguise. Although I might sell my series one Marcus later on because it's the very original Marcus, and is the oldest. It's still packaged and is in great condition.

I like the fact that the locust two-pack is coming with two ink grenades. I don't have any of those yet since I waited to buy the Hive box set rather than buying the series three Cyclops and Grappler.

I'd only buy the Marcus and Dom two-pack simply for the golden lancer. I don't think I'm going to get it anyway. I'll defiantly get the locust two-pack because I don't have any ink grenades, the golden hammerburst is sick and I love to use it online 90% of the time, and I could use two more drones.

They just need to quit worrying about it, and make a Berzerker, or Brumak...;) I think the money they charge for the figures any way should cover the bases for these two. If you think about it, when they first started coming out, they were going for what...10.00-13.00 bucks... now were seeing prices of up to 27.00 dollars. C'mon... inflation??? Whatevah!

First of all, NECA could never make a Berserker and Brumak scaled with other figures. That's being too optimistic. Secondly, if you're buying figures for twenty-seven dollars, you're getting jacked. My local Toys R Us was selling all the series four figures and even a few series three figures for $13.99 each.

The Flame Grenadier may be worth twenty dollars, but there's always the possibility that you can find one in retail for $13.99 like I did. It's not like you have to go for the twenty dollar price plus shipping if you're ordering it online. If you can ever find any kind of figure for a very cheap price, don't hesitate and just buy it while you got the chance.

yea i know but you kno 13.99 is the before tax price also so either way your hittin the $16-20$ mark. Online, off line, its whatever just depends on where your living i buy all my at the best deal by just getting the sets and if i want extra i always find my deals or hit up toy's r us but i can't stand around outside all day so i always find the better deals online as long as i get em which i have thats all that matters (and i mean flamer $20 with shipping @ the time)

And to be honest, the dead space figures have the LED lights and have FAR better articulation than the Gears of War figures. But I paid 20 bucks each for my two dead space comic con figures, and the other ones only run for 14.99.

True, but Street Fighter is a more recognized/bigger franchise than gears and even those are cheaper. It really all depends on where you get your toys from to on how much the mark up is. i get my gears toys for 14.99, dead space 13.99, and Street Fighter IV for 13.99 all at this store called Hastings here in the US. If I get my figures online though I pay usually 16.99-21.99 for 1 gears figure before shipping :-(

Even if, I would rather pay 19.99-24.99 for a light up Carmine with legs and arms that move good than pay 16.99-19.99 for a non light up Carmine with little articulation. I have nothing against the way the gears figures now, I'm simply saying that I would rather spend five bucks more for light up ones with 20 points of articulation :-D

I'm almost impressed you've managed to find them for $27!

The most I've paid is $15 a pop. (not counting special figures.)

Some reported having the elbow articulation on their Marcus break right out of the box. RAAM is improperly sized, has a Troika that's half Boomshot and a dirk instead of a sword. My Lancer wouldn't make noise until I got a replacement piece. The lower blood spray on my chainsaw Drone popped off the instant I opened the box, and getting Marcus to actually look like he's chainsawing it is such a delicate balancing act I don't dare touch them. There're some glitches for you.
As for lag, my A.Carmine's knee is still so tight it won't move, so if we think of attempt to perform the action vs. when the action occurs, I'm still waiting on that one.

Thanks goodness I've kept all my figures in their packaging except my Palace Guard. My Palace Guard doesn't seem to have any problems except with holding the Torque Bow. He can't ever grip it properly with his left hand.

Just how I had him... One sec...

Takes a litte bit of doing, and you've got to be gentle and forceful at the same time, but it's fully doable. One of the fingers is bent in a little bit, so you've got to work the grip in there a little, and be careful of putting force on the bow's struts, as they're fragile.

But again, I've got him holding the Torque with both hands, now, so it's fully doable. (handle in right, grip in left.)
