Mlg match videos (Gow)

I was on the mlg site for the first time today and I cant find any pro matches to watch. The only game videos I found were boring lancer fest zero wallbouncing ones like this http://gameroom.gamebattles.com/view/jjjuqCaXAoM.html?video_page=1
I see on the frontpage news about the 3YY Noob Squad winning fall playoffs... how come I cant watch their matches? Id love to see how good the true pros are at this game

Don't be dissin' the Lancer, bro. The Lancer is a beast, I repeat, beast when you shoot the upper part of the body. It also is good for close quarters and for support. That should a lesson to ya'll: the pros don't run around with a shotty two-piecing and wall-bouncing.

awhile back, i heard that espn was going to broadcast some gears2 mlg events. Since then, i haven't heard anything else or seen any on. I probably just missed them. I enjoyed the x-box sponsored Gears 1 tourney that was shown on the old gameplay hd channel. I believe the finals was held in Austria. It was like a 12-16 country tourney.
I had it on my dvr till it got erased. : ( and now that channel is gone for good. Thanks Again- Dish Network

thats exactly why I dont like it. active lancer and your down before you can get 2 shots out of the shotti. its way to powerful, i prefered it pre-patch.

So is that what all the pros do in MLG? active lancer and snipe?

If you scroll down towards the bottom of the page there will be some gears matches, 14 or 15 of them or something. And some of them actually have commentary going on, which is cool.

The long way to get there, if the link doesn't work for you...is go to mlgpro.com and go to video, click the Tournament Gameplay (VoD) option from the drop down, and pick the Columbus 2009 link and boom you're there. I haven't checked the meadowlands ones for ones that get commentary, but they do have individual POV cams from a ton of matches there, but without anybody commentating or without hearing the teams talk I actually find it kind of boring. The columbus ones are good though. Note though, that you need to have an account with MLGPRO.com to access the VoD section.

Thanks, I was actually looking for Gears1 matches but I found them throught that link anyway, problem is they dont work. I can watch the gears 2 matches fine but for gow I get an error message that the stream is not recognized and the file will not play.
Any ideas? can other people watch the Gears1 matches?
